Re: Object Lesson – and Hall of Heroes!!!

“Sherlock Holmes had his pipe. Dorothy had her red shoes. Batman had his Batmobile. If we asked your friends what object they most immediately associate with you, what would they answer?” – The Daily Post

Honestly, mine would have to be something to do with cosplay. Maybe my Harley Quinn sledge hammer, ha ha! But whatever my friends chose, I KNOW it would be something nerdy. I nerd out about everything. Sonic Screwdrivers, Batarangs, Arc Reactors, Jayne’s Hat, etc. If it’s in the comic books/scifi world, I’m probably geeking out about it. However, I definitely think my “object” would have something to do with cosplay. Maybe a sewing machine, ha ha!

Speaking of cosplaying, I recently attended the Batman 75th Anniversary Celebration at Hall of Heroes in Elkhart, IN (it was the LARGEST Batman 75th celebration in the COUNTRY), and volunteered with several other cosplayers to take pictures with fans as Harley Quinn! There were also other Batman characters including The Joker, Batman, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, and several other DC villains/heroes. It was fantastic! If you are ever in the Indiana area, I HIGHLY suggest going to Hall of Heroes. They have the original Adam West Batsuit, the actual shield from the first Captain America movie (signed by the Winter Soldier cast AND Stan “The Man” Lee), and tons of other really awesome and nerdy things. Plus they have so many fun events! In October they will be hosting a super villain-themed haunted house! If you have the chance, you HAVE to attend one of these events! The cast and crew are awesome!

Check out Hall of Heroes’ Facebook page to learn more about what they do, admission prices, and when they’re open: Hall of Heroes FB.

Then head on over and like my page and my Joker’s page: Just-A-Nerdy-Girl Cosplay and The Hoosier Batman!
